Because the profession requires physical stamina, empathy, and technical precision, the admissions process is designed to ensure you are a good fit for the field.
Here is a breakdown of what Qualities we look for in our prospective students .
- Physical Stamina- Massage is an athletic profession. You’ll be on your feet for several hours a day, using your core, arms, and hands to apply pressure.
- High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)– Technical skill is only half the battle. A great therapist must be able to read a room and a client’s non-verbal cues. Key traits include:
- Empathy /Active Listening/ Effective Communication
- Reliability and Professionalism– In a clinical setting, your clients and colleagues rely on your consistency. We look for Punctuality, time management and Ethical practice.

Admissions Process

Requirements
1. Enrolling students must be at lease 18 years of age.
2. Enrolling students must have a High School diploma or GED
3.Score of 18 or greater on the Wonderlic SLE test- Administered during the admissions interview.
4. Criminal background check administered by the State Police and Mandatory Reporter Training. (post Graduation)
5.High School seniors may submit their applications prior to their 18th birthday and graduation date but may not begin classes until the age and education requirements are met.
